Nestled on the Gulf Stream coast of South-West Kerry, on the Wild Atlantic Way, Mannix Point has been creating memorable camping experiences since our opening in 1984. In 2024 we celebrate 40 years of welcoming guests from five continents. Many visitors return year after year — one stay here often becomes a lifetime of return visits.
Between the River and Mountain
This tranquil park with 500 metres of waterfront is spectacularly located. It is surrounded on three sides by hills and mountains and faces the Atlantic islands of Valentia and Beginish on the south west. It is described in prestigious travel guides as “one of the best campsites in Ireland”!

A cornerstone of Mannix Point's unique offerings is its vibrant, impromptu music culture. Music sessions at Mannix Point have drawn live musicians from around the world for over 20 years, bringing live and traditional music to a new generation. Come see for yourself!

Our park is an excellent base for discovering all that South Kerry has to offer. Whether icycling along the South Kerry Greenway, hiking glorious mountains, taking trips to the Skellig Islands or discovering local heritage and ancient monuments, we will provide you with a wealth of experience.
