¡Hola! Soy Mortimer y mi apellido es Moriarty,
pero tal vez prefieras dirigirte a mí como
(Muircheartach Seosamh Breandan Ó Muircheartaigh), que es mi nombre completo en irlandés.

Localizado en el borde de Europa, este tranquilo parque con
500 metros de línea de costa presenta una ubicación
espectacular. Está situado frente a las islas atlánticas
de Valentia y Beginish al suroeste y lo rodean por tres lados
colinas y montañas. Aparece descrito en prestigiosas
guías de viaje como «uno de los mejores campings
de Irlanda», «una de nuestras mejores direcciones»,
«un paraíso para los amantes de la naturaleza» y mucho más.
Mannix Point abrió como Camping y Parque de Caravanas en 1984. Era muy pequeño
y muy básico. Todo el mundo decía: «No cambies nada. Es perfecto».
Cada año desde entonces hago cambios y todos los años la gente dice: «Esto
es perfecto. No cambies nada». Dentro de veinte años quizá sea «perfecto».

Mannix Point es un lugar especial. No es sólo mi opinión parcial. Mannix Point ha ganado quince premios nacionales e internacionales, incluidos The Award of Excellence (Premio a la Excelencia) y The Best Welcome in Europe (La Mejor Bienvenida de Europa).
Aquí encontrarás una amplia gama de instalaciones. La higiene y la limpieza son una prioridad en nuestra agenda. He sido excursionista y campista toda mi vida adulta y sé lo importante que es entrar en una ducha limpia y caliente. La lavandería está equipada con dos lavadoras y dos secadoras comerciales además de un lavadero para lavar a mano. Fuera hay tendederos disponibles.
Las instalaciones para lavar los platos, con agua caliente continua, también están en esta sala. La Cocina del Campista está bien equipada con menaje de cocina, además de fogones, microondas, neveras y congelador. (¡Estas comodidades no estaban disponibles cuando yo iba de camping!). El comedor contiguo es cómodo y espacioso.

Mortimer Moriarty

He’s a mine of information, got a penchant for libation
He’s the greatest in the nation when all is said & done
All the time he has a smile and it’s the warmest on the isle

He changed his name & rearranged it so the English could pronounce it
And I’d say that’s jolly decent after all the blood we spilled
All the land we grabbed in violence and the families that we silenced
And especially all the hatred with the Irish heart we filled
Now it’s never too late to make amends and start again as friends
So have a piss into my Guiness and I’ll drink it with a will

Oh god I’ve wandered off the subject, started waxing about the tragic
Someone pour me some more magic and I’ll carry on me tale
It was Mortimer in Kerry, sure he made me feel quite merry
Soon as I got off the ferry he brought sunshine to my day
Though me accent’s not authentic I can say it because I mean it
I’m at home in County Kerry ’cause he made me feel that way

So to sum up, if that’s possible, you can take it or not as gospel
I’ve a soul I left in Ireland, and to me it’s very dear,
On a campsite in Cahersiveen with sunsets like I’ve never seen
You’re treated like a king or queen, of that you’ll have no fear
So there’s an advert for you Mortimer and I won’t charge a Euro
Just as long as we get the same pitch when we come again next year
